The frenetic energy of the first few weeks has passed, and we find ourselves back in the saddle of the teaching and learning which we love. While many of our greatest instructional strategies and resources come from the intersection of our ideas and past implementations, we all have our treasured resources where we go for inspiration or ideas.
For September, please share your treasures with our PLN by answering one or more of these questions:
- What is a website or social platform that you use to get instructional or resources for your classroom or role? Why or How has this made a tangible impact on your practices?
- Who are a few members of your PLN that share resources and or inspiration that impacts your practice and might be similar impactful on others? What are a few take-aways from these folks that have transcended your practices?
- What book, conference, podcast…etc is your treasure chest from which you access jewels for your practice? What are a few of these jewels that you plan to incorporate to enhance the experiences this year?
- What non-traditional source of inspiration is key to your practice (playing cards, long walks, swims…etc)? How has it impacted your approach?
I look forward to learning more about you and your inspirations, and I hope this will help all of us add some sites, resources, and practices to our own treasure chests.
